Electrical Tapes

…. are used in insulation, fixing and screening in products.

We sell a range of adhesive tapes specially made for our core business, and can offer several kinds of adhesive tape based on a wide range of backing materials.

Adhesive tape is available in various widths and is often categorised by the following temperatures:

130°C 155°C 180°C 200°C

And the following materials:

Polyester Film

  • Polyester exhibits excellent conformability and high dielectric strength per 25µ of thickness.

Acrylic adhesives enhance these films by giving the products good chemical and solvent resistance.

Some of them are UL flame-retardant.

    The temperature rating is 130°C.

Polyester Laminates

  • These two laminates have each been constructed to offer unique properties.

Paper/Polyester offers bulk, stiffness and can be torn by hand.

Polyester /Non-woven offers excellent puncture resistance, conformability and, with acrylic adhesives, higher temperature performance.

The temperature ratings are is 130°C and 155°C.

Glass Filament

  •

The glass filament, coupled with polyester film, provides high tensile strength, making the product an excellent choice for heavy-duty bundling insulation.

These tapes are compatible with most oils used in immersed transformers.

The temperature ratings are 130°C and 155°C.

Glass Cloth

  •

Flexibility and conformability are the key features of this product group.

The high heat resistance and tensile strength of glass cloth meets many electrical insulation application requirements.

    The temperature ratings are 130°C, 155°C, 180°C and 200°C.

Specialty

  • The unique characteristics of these tapes make them ideally suited for high voltage insulation applications.

Zone-coating allows for complete impregnation of the varnish.

Innovative backing provides unique properties to meet the application requirements of the new generation of coils.

    The temperature ratings are 105°C, 130°C, 155°C, 180°C and 200°C.

Polyimide Films

  • The heat resistance and dielectric strength of polyimide tapes make them an excellent choice for high temperature insulation and processing applications.

The temperature ratings are 155°C and 180°C.
